This is very unfortunate news as gamesindustry.biz reports on Funcom layoffs and the delay of The Secret World. Apparently Funcom will cut its workforce by 20% to cut costs. As a result, The Secret World will be delayed by a few months while they re-organize. So I'm still playing my Elyos Mage Rosethornn. And I'm having a blast, truth be told. Sure, there are some little annoyances with the game. For example, when I'm booted from the server (or can't log in like yesterday, since the servers were down), instead of just booting back to the log in screen, the game completely shuts down.
